Hello, my name is Cristie Allen, I specialize in federal retirement benefits, (CSRS/CSRS Offset/FERS), offering one on one consultations for federal employees.
I recently retired from federal service in January of 2018 with 37 years of service. Prior to my retirement, I was the benefits retirement counselor for the OO-ALC Complex at Hill Air Force Base, overseeing approximately 7500 employees. I provided assistance to thousands of employees, providing estimates, and when the time came, completion of their retirement package.

What to expect at your appointment:
Your appointment will be approximately 1 – ½ hours, depending on what we are doing.
I will provide an estimate for as many scenarios as you wish.
If you are retiring within 3 months of your appointment, we will complete your retirement package. If you are unsure of your retirement date, we can schedule you for another appointment to complete your package at no extra cost to you.
Things you will need to bring to your appointment for an estimate:
- - List of questions/concerns you may have.
- - SF 50’s showing any pay changes you’ve had within the last 5 years.
- - Copy of most recent leave and earnings statement.
- - If prior active duty military, copy of DD-214.
- - Thrift Savings Plan statement.
- - For FERS employees, copy of most recent Social Security Statement. To get a current copy, login to ssa.gov, and if you don’t have an account, create one. You will then be able to get the most current statement.
- - If you have any deposit service (temporary service) or re-deposit service, you will need to have copies of the SF 50’s that show the start and stop dates.
Things you will need to bring if filling out your retirement paperwork:
- - If married, spousal information (SSN, DOB).
- - Copy of marriage certificate.
- - If prior active duty military service, copy of DD-214.
- - If you paid a deposit for your military service, a copy of the paid in full letter.
- - If you have been divorced and the former spouse gets part of your retirement, a copy of the divorce decree.
- - If we are updating any beneficiary forms, I will need name, SSN, DOB and address of all those you are naming as beneficiary.
- - If you have paid any civilian service credit payments, a copy of the paid in full letters.
